The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Warriors Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a wide array of heroes, and a gripping narrative featuring celestial beings, evil spirits, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the premier party of adventurers who will separate from the central cast to begin their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

With 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

Hence, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented gameplay experience where diplomatic options are rare.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear unsuited, but the events of the latest installment show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

First, the group understands precisely where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose demise initiated the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his own means, invading the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.

The antagonist then settled his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each character has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the region and advises that it is a nasty environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their reputation as important members in the powerful family could assist the group access places they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his salvation and will now go with him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the powers that govern the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The cleric defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in search of Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the combat party will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the participants to round up the Seekers and Schemers tables.

Audiences can look forward to learning which adventurers will be where in the season’s concluding setup installment, released on October 24.
